Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Moutinho started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Franca getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Sandro Leite hit a great ball. Nuno Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Eusébio Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Assunção having to interfere. Carlos Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Leite in the 13th minute. Emílio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, SC Franca's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Garcia came free, but Eusébio Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carragozela FC's Nuno Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Trindade in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Assunção prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, SC Franca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Freitas to maneuver through the defense. André Queirós, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gabriel Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gabriel Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SC Franca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Moutinho couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Trindade made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorge Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Gabriel Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Franca's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Gabriel Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Nuno Trindade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Gabriel Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Trindade having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, SC Franca's Gabriel Moutinho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Gabriel Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Moutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Franca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
