Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Paul's Cristiano Neves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SC Paul getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lúcio Assunção hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Jorge Lisboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Cristiano Neves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jorge Lisboa to make any attempt to save it. If Cristiano Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Joaquim Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joaquim Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jorge Lisboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Lisboa. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Joaquim Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Santorum's Amadeu Paredes got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jorge Lisboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Lima went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Cristiano Neves fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Paul's protests and gave Cristiano Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Paul's Cristiano Neves got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Pinheiro to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Santorum got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Fonseca. Joaquim Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jorge Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Humberto Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rui Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santorum. After a defensive mix-up in SC Paul's zone, Emílio Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Correia came out of the goal and Emílio Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Joaquim Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Paul getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. José Lisboa hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, SC Paul's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emílio Pinheiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The long shot by Nuno Fonseca in the 78th minute really tested Rui Correia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. During the 82nd minute of the match Amadeu Paredes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amadeu Paredes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Amadeu Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Joaquim Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Joaquim Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Santorum players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Paul.
