Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Nascimento kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Afonso Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Afonso Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Gonçalves having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, José Paiva put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armindo Moniz. Vasco Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Marcoes's Rafael Pereira tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Armando Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marcoes's Domingos Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marcoes booed when Resende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Resende's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Andrade came free, but Armindo Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ricardo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resende's Armindo Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paiva in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Fonseca got free with Domingos Gonçalves in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Gonçalves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Marcoes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Gonçalves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 95 minutes of play, Resende's Armando Gonçalves made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Resende's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
