Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Freixedas's Emílio Resende started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Freixedas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gaspar Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Freixedas's goalkeeper Daniel Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Álvaro Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Daniel Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Mendes in the 7th minute of the match. Xavier Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Costa went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, SC Celorico's Gaspar Maia got a free kick in the 14th minute. Álvaro Valente made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Daniel Veiga would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Freixedas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mendes came free, but Daniel Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Amaral's late challenge caught a SC Celorico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. João Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Freixedas's goalkeeper Daniel Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gaspar Aguiar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. In the 47th minute, Gaspar Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jorge Faro in the 48th minute really tested Daniel Veiga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Artur Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Valente in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Veiga saved Freixedas from getting behind. In the 59th match minute, Freixedas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Resende to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Álvaro Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Veiga having to interfere. David Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Veiga having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Freixedas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Resende to maneuver through the defense. When Cristóvão Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Celorico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Mendes couldn't finish the play. Artur Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Lima having to interfere. Freixedas's João Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Álvaro Valente came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Celorico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Valente couldn't finish the play. The SC Celorico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Freixedas's performance. The match ended with a win for Freixedas.
