Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lagomar's Cristiano Faria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gabriel Moura fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagomar's protests and gave Gabriel Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Mário Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Delfim Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Lagomar got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Esteves. Mário Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Borges having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Codeceda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Coelho's late challenge caught a Lagomar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. Vasco Coelho hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes, Lagomar's André Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Sousa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lagomar reached it. Sandro Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Sousa having to interfere. Alexandre Leite hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Sandro Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Faria struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Afonso Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagomar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delfim Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Coelho in the 56th minute of play. Gabriel Moura got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Codeceda FC booed when Lagomar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Alexandre Leite fired a really elegant long shot, but Delfim Borges threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Mário Coelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rogério Setúbal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of Lagomar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lagomar. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Codeceda FC's Alexandre Leite got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Delfim Borges. Cristóvão Guarda struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Delfim Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codeceda FC. If Mário Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Guarda in the 84th minute. Vasco Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mário Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Codeceda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Coelho couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagomar's goalkeeper Delfim Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lagomar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Codeceda FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
