Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Valente started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Norte got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Valente. 7 minutes into the match, Medonha's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valente came free, but Mariano Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, one of Medonha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Norte's Bruno Freitas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mariano Andrade. In the 22nd match minute, Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Paredes to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Viriato Morais shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Paulo Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Mariano Andrade made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gil Anjos sent off a good shot on target. If Hugo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Norte's Paulo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Abreu in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lourenço Abreu made a kick off. Gil Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Andrade having to interfere. When Hugo Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Medonha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Medonha's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Anjos came free, but Mariano Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Paulo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Abreu in the 79th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Oliveira Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medonha the free kick. Oliveira Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Lourenço Abreu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Paulo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medonha. The supporters of Medonha booed when Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
