Miguel Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pereira having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Miguel Nogueira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Pereira. 19 minutes into the match, SC Nozelos's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Anjos came free, but Pedro Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, SC Nozelos's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Nogueira came free, but Pedro Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game António Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Estoi's Rui Pacheco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Nozelos's Pedro Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Anjos in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Martins during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Bruno Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Pacheco in the 34th minute of play. Bruno Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pereira having to interfere. Rui Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when João Coelho sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, João Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bruno Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Anjos to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, João Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Pacheco. SC Estoi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. António Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rui Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Estoi's Bruno Anjos got a free kick in the 61st minute. 70 minutes into the match, SC Nozelos's João Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, João Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nozelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Pacheco came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Nozelos's João Coelho. But to his dismay, João Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Xavier Borba fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Estoi's protests and gave Xavier Borba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Estoi getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xavier Borba hit a great ball. SC Estoi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
