After a defensive mix-up in Quintos FC's zone, Nuno Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Castro came out of the goal and Nuno Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Castro made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Alberto Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Neto to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Jaime Delgado notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Enxames FC's Emílio Nascimento. Emílio Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Fonseca hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. André Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Borges in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Enxames FC booed when Quintos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Jaime Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emílio Nascimento came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Quintos FC's Jaime Delgado. But to his dismay, Jaime Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Enxames FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
