A collision led to Laveiras FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eusébio Ferro hit a great ball. SC Azeitada's Alfredo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Ferro in the 9th minute of play. Hélder Borba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Domingos Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Borba got free with Domingos Luz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Armando Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eusébio Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Diogo Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Azeitada and the Laveiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diogo Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Armando Assis scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heitor Ramos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Azeitada getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diogo Anjos hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Pedro Gaspar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Azeitada's Alfredo Nunes didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Trindade during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hélder Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Luz having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Daniel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Azeitada's António Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Luz having to interfere. Armando Assis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alfredo Nunes made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Laveiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Gaspar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. António Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laveiras FC's Domingos Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Santarém in the 87th minute of play. When Carlos Trindade was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. A collision led to Laveiras FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Carlos Trindade hit a great ball. SC Azeitada were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Laveiras FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Heitor Ramos took the corner. António Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Domingos Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laveiras FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
