Duarte Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Leal having to interfere. With a little luck, Portuzelo FC's Gabriel Leal got control of the ball when Duarte Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simão Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Américo Ferro sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, Cristiano Gueifão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Morais hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, SC Danaia's António Vieira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, David Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Portuzelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Morais to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Barros in the 76th minute of play forced Portuzelo FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Gabriel Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Barros in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portuzelo FC's Viriato Dantas got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Rui Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Simão Barbosa made a huge save. In the 95th minute of the match Portuzelo FC got a corner. SC Danaia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Lima ran over to the corner to take the kick. Portuzelo FC's Manuel Lima was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Simão Barbosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gabriel Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
