In the 87th minute Francisco Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nuno Luz made a huge save. In the 94th minute of the match, António Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Luz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes into the game, Hélder Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Nuno Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Macida had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
