Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bento Nogueira kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Macida booed when SC Cumeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Catarino Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Viegas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Machado having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Jorge Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cumeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Jorge Matias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Catarino Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Viegas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. António Fonseca hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jorge Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Catarino Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Nogueira's late challenge caught a Macida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Oliveira Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Bento Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Oliveira Faro. SC Cumeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
