The SC Alvora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Garcia should have stopped the shot. The supporters of SC Alvora booed when Ratos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nuno Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Leal in the 24th minute of play forced SC Alvora's goalkeeper Fábio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Abreu during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Abreu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Gabriel Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vasco Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Alvora's Eusébio Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Gonçalves in the 73rd minute of the match. If Eusébio Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Teixeira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eusébio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Alvora's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play, Ratos FC's Alexandre Domingues made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ratos FC's Nuno Leal got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 96th match minute, Ratos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Bessa to maneuver through the defense. If Eusébio Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
