Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Moutinho in the 10th minute of play. Álvaro Almeida's late challenge caught a Albergaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Cancinos got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Almeida. If Manuel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Álvaro Almeida was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. Rogério Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Moutinho in the 30th minute of play forced Cancinos's goalkeeper Manuel Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cláudio Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cancinos getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Manuel Maia hit a great ball. Cláudio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Manuel Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Cláudio Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albergaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Moutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Moutinho made a kick off. When João Neves fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albergaria FC's protests and gave João Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Lourenço Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rogério Aleixo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jorge Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Manuel Anjos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manuel Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Albergaria FC booed when Cancinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Aleixo scored 0-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Anjos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heitor Cabral was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Albergaria FC's Heitor Cabral got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Albergaria FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
