Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes in the game, Fábio Fernandes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paulo Pinto having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, José Coelho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Meixomil's Paulo Pinto. Paulo Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Alves during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Parede FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Alves. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nuno Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When André Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Meixomil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Paiva couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Meixomil booed when Parede FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Fernandes in the 89th minute of play forced SC Meixomil's goalkeeper Paulo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Parede FC booed when SC Meixomil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Rafael Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
