Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonçalo Cardoso started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Galafura got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Barros. Mareco FC's Gaspar Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Cardoso in the 21st minute of play. When Galafura's Gonçalo Cardoso in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mareco FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Armando Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Abel Domingues made a huge save. Amadeu Dias hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ricardo Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Mota. Mareco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abel Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mareco FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Coelho. In the 54th minute, Ricardo Coelho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alexandre Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Abel Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mareco FC booed when Galafura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Abel Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Alexandre Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Mareco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Cardoso came free, but Gaspar Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Miranda during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galafura's Abel Miranda got a free kick in the 79th minute. Abel Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mareco FC's Gaspar Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mareco FC from getting a goal against them. Galafura's Abel Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Cabral in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
