After 18 played minutes Louzadela got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Cunha. Xavier Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Sousa in the 20th minute of the match. When Joaquim Leão fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Charneca's protests and gave Joaquim Leão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, SC Charneca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Leão to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Leão in the 29th minute of the match. Filipe Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Xavier Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Esteves's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. António Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Louzadela booed when SC Charneca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavier Correia having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Filipe Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Joaquim Leão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Louzadela's Basílio Oliveira. Basílio Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Louzadela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Charneca were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Sousa to make the kick off. SC Charneca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Louzadela's Sebastião Sousa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Filipe Cunha struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Xavier Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louzadela. Xavier Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of SC Charneca echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Louzadela had held the ball for most of the match.
