Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Teixeira made the kick off which started today's match. José Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute José Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Antunes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Avo's zone, Lúcio Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Faria came out of the goal and Lúcio Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11thth minute of the game José Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avo's Rui Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Faro in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Avo booed when Esposada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Faro in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Avo's Rui Faria got control of the ball when Lúcio Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Faria having to interfere. If José Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Vicente Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Afonso Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Aguiar having to interfere. If Afonso Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Artur Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avo's Rui Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Teixeira in the 60th minute of play. Lúcio Dias struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rui Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esposada FC. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Augusto Bessa sped through Esposada FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Aguiar. Rui Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Teixeira in the 72nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Avo's goal looked a bit too open when José Teixeira came free, but Rui Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Afonso Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Augusto Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Faro in the 91st minute of play forced Esposada FC's goalkeeper Artur Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Aguiar having to interfere. José Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Faria having to interfere.
