Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Fernandes kicked off to start the match. If Amadeu Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 5 minutes, Nuno Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pousadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nuno Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pousadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th match minute, SC Oporto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, SC Pousadas's Amadeu Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Campos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Amadeu Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alexandre Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Nuno Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Campos. Nuno Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. SC Oporto's Alexandre Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save SC Oporto from getting a goal against them. Diamantino Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Armando Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Oporto's Manuel Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Abel Correia fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Oporto's protests and gave Abel Correia a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeu Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alexandre Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Oporto's Manuel Leiria in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pousadas's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Leiria to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pousadas's zone, Diamantino Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Nunes came out of the goal and Diamantino Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Oporto's goalkeeper Alexandre Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play, SC Oporto's Diamantino Matias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Pousadas's Armando Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Leiria in the 81st minute of play. SC Pousadas's Amadeu Paiva pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ricardo Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Oporto's protests and gave Ricardo Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Ricardo Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Vasco Andrade in the 92nd minute really tested Armando Nunes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. António Guarda's late challenge caught a SC Oporto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
