Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusébio Cruz started the match with the kick off. Rui Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Cruz in the 5th minute of play forced SC Lourinha's goalkeeper Joaquim Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Cruz in the 10th minute of the match. Simão Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Eusébio Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Abitureiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, SC Lourinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Carneiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquim Andrade could save by the left post. SC Lourinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Eusébio Cruz scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Andrade, making the score, 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Abel Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Abitureiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lourinha the free kick. Abel Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Inácio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Abitureiras's zone, Inácio Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Faro came out of the goal and Inácio Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, SC Lourinha's goalkeeper Joaquim Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertino Carneiro. SC Lourinha's Joaquim Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Cruz in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Eusébio Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Abitureiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Cruz in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 played minutes SC Lourinha got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Viana. Albertino Carneiro scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Borges was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. SC Lourinha's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rui Faro made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Inácio Borges sent off a good shot on target. Armando Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Faro having to interfere. Inácio Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. If Inácio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Borges in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Albertino Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquim Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Faro having to make a save. Inácio Borges's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Rui Faro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rui Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Silva in the 80th minute of play. Eusébio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Abitureiras were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Lourinha for a fine match.
