Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basílio Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. Diogo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Borges in the 4th minute of play. Sebastião Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Ramos having to interfere. When Inácio Moura fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calhetas FC's protests and gave Inácio Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Inácio Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If José Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Domingos Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Vale, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 20 played minutes Calhetas FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Vale. Basílio Borges spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Calhetas FC's goal. In the 28th minute, José Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calhetas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st minute, José Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Viegas having to interfere. Moruja's Marco Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vaz in the 38th minute of play. Marco Viegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vaz went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Calhetas FC's Diogo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Calhetas FC from getting a goal against them. Diogo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Mota in the 48th minute. The Moruja players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calhetas FC were winning 0-2.
When Moruja's Basílio Borges in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd minute, Sebastião Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Calhetas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
