Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basílio Borges started the match with the kick off. If Marco Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, Sebastião Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moruja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Sebastião Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moruja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Xavier Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Moruja's Sebastião Mota. But to his dismay, Sebastião Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marco Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Macedo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Marco Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Mota in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavier Ribeiro saved Arrujo FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Sebastião Mota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Xavier Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes, Domingos Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moruja and the Arrujo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Moruja getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Domingos Morais hit a great ball. Marco Barros in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Viegas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xavier Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Moruja's Basílio Borges. But to his dismay, Basílio Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Marco Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Viegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. The Arrujo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moruja were winning 0-4.

After 53 minutes, João Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrujo FC and the Moruja players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marco Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Moruja's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Macedo came free, but Marco Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Marco Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Viegas having to interfere. Xavier Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Sebastião Mota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xavier Ribeiro. The goal made the score 0-5. When Marco Barros came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Arrujo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Barros couldn't finish the play. When Basílio Borges came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Moruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Borges couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moruja eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
