Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Vaz kicked off to start the match. José Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Ramos having to interfere. José Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Calhetas FC's Amílcar Santarém got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Azinheiro FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fábio Andrade hit a great ball. Calhetas FC's Rafael Vale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Azinheiro FC. The Calhetas FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Calhetas FC's José Vaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Sebastião Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Oliveira Lisboa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diogo Ramos skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calhetas FC's zone, Albertino Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Ramos came out of the goal and Albertino Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Branco in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albertino Tavares was the one to do the kick off. If José Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Branco had several of the Azinheiro FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed David Paiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Marco Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Azinheiro FC's Oliveira Lisboa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Marco Branco took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Paiva. David Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Albertino Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Diogo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Branco in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Marco Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marco Branco came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Calhetas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Branco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Azinheiro FC's Lourenço Sá got a free kick in the 94th minute.
