Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Óscar Martins got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vaz having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Alexandre Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiolhoso FC's David Leal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. João Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Cabral hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. João Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cristiano Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Óscar Martins went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Carlos Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiolhoso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assencada the free kick. A collision led to Fiolhoso FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Carlos Viana hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Fiolhoso FC got a freekick which was hit by João Magalhães. In the 47th minute, Óscar Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vaz having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Alexandre Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assencada and the Fiolhoso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Assencada getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alexandre Anjos hit a great ball. Adolfo Cabral hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Júlio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assencada's Rui Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fiolhoso FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
