Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Branco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Assencada got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Lisboa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Branco in the 5th minute of play forced Assencada's goalkeeper Cristiano Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Assencada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Louzoes:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for SC Louzoes. Rui Ferreira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristiano Vaz. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Lúcio Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Louzoes's goalkeeper Miguel Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Ricardo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Louzoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cristiano Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Moreira made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Júlio Rocha sent off a good shot on target. In the 27thth minute of the game Rui Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Louzoes's Miguel Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Rui Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ricardo Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Assencada's goalkeeper Cristiano Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lúcio Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Rui Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Vaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Manuel Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Moreira made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Júlio Rocha sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Louzoes's Manuel Monteiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. With an all-out effort, Assencada's Miguel Moreira threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rui Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 44th minute Lúcio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Rocha in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Louzoes's Nuno Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Miguel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Rocha in the 55th minute of play. If Júlio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Nuno Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SC Louzoes's Ricardo Branco in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assencada's goalie prevented a goal. When Cláudio Porto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assencada's protests and gave Cláudio Porto a yellow card for diving instead. Cláudio Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Ricardo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Louzoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rui Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Lúcio Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Vaz. Assencada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 77th minute, Alexandre Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vaz having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Assencada's Júlio Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Vaz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Miguel Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Louzoes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
