Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Gaspar kicked off to start the match. Pedro Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Jesus having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Pedro Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cândido Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Freitas's late challenge caught a Lavre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, José Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cândido Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Dantas in the 16th minute of play forced Meco FC's goalkeeper Cândido Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cândido Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Dantas in the 17th minute of the match. The penalty shot was made by Xavier Cardoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meco FC's Cândido Jesus. 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Lavre FC's goalkeeper João Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Tavares. Gustavo Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lavre FC's zone, João Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Santos came out of the goal and João Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Meco FC's José Freitas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ricardo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joaquim Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meco FC's protests and gave Joaquim Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cândido Jesus made a huge save.
