The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Henriques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amílcar Rocha. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. David Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pedro Baptista scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílcar Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Estacao FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Martins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Estacao FC's Amílcar Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Jesus in the 27th minute of play. David Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Estacao FC's Amílcar Rocha got control of the ball when Pedro Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Adarse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Rui Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Rui Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estacao FC's Amílcar Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Estacao FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gustavo Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Adarse FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estacao FC the free kick. In the 60th minute Armando Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Armando Jesus put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amílcar Rocha. In the 69th minute, Pedro Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nuno Gueifão hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Vicente Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adarse FC's Ricardo Henriques suffered a sprained foot after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Nuno Gueifão was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Nuno Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Adarse FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
