Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Nunes started the match with the kick off. Tiago Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Amílcar Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Vicente Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Gustavo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Rocha having to interfere. Amílcar Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alexandre Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramela's protests and gave Alexandre Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Ramela got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Amaro. Rui Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rui Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustavo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Monteiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Gustavo Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Rui Barros made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Estacao FC's Gustavo Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gustavo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estacao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ferreira having to interfere. Estacao FC's Rui Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Nunes in the 74th minute of play forced Estacao FC's goalkeeper Amílcar Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ramela's Filipe Monteiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Estacao FC booed when Ramela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estacao FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ramela.
