Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Matos kicked off to start the match. A collision led to SC Jancido getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mariano Paredes hit a great ball. Rui Mota made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Fernando Coelho sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Ricardo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Faria's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Armando Porto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simão Melo. SC Jancido's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rogério Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Pinto's late challenge caught a Codes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes SC Jancido got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Pinto. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Codes's goalkeeper Rui Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Coelho got free with Rui Mota in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Codes booed when SC Jancido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Emílio Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Óscar Assis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Emílio Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Codes got a freekick which was hit by Armando Porto. After 49 minutes Codes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Óscar Assis who took care of the corner kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rogério Faria made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Codes's zone, Ricardo Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Mota came out of the goal and Ricardo Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rafael Leal fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codes's protests and gave Rafael Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Codes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Leal to maneuver through the defense. Rui Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rogério Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Fernando Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Codes's Gaspar Carvalho got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Óscar Assis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, SC Jancido's goalkeeper Simão Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Viegas. 71 minutes into the game, Mariano Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Jancido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codes the free kick. Mariano Paredes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rogério Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Melo having to make a save. Henrique Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Emílio Viegas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Simão Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codes. Simão Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Simão Melo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Emílio Viegas sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Amaro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
