The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viatodos FC's Lucas Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Almeida in the 6th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Adelino Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Farelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Viatodos FC's Lucas Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Anjos in the 22nd minute of play. If Catarino Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Sebastião Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adelino Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rui Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. After 43 played minutes Viatodos FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Torres.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastião Anjos made a kick off. Adelino Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Fernandes having to interfere. Sebastião Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catarino Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Daniel Leal fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Farelo's protests and gave Daniel Leal a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Leal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ricardo Leal made a great header on Viatodos FC's corner, it was just that SC Farelo's Vicente Coimbra managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 75th minute, Sebastião Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Fernandes was a little too slow when Sebastião Anjos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-3. Catarino Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vicente Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Coimbra having to interfere. Vicente Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Catarino Costa's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of Viatodos FC booed when SC Farelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Coimbra having to interfere. The Viatodos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Farelo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Farelo.
