The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lúcio Trindade the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Bigas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lúcio Trindade had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of SC Bigas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Terrujem:s goal. The referee gave SC Terrujem a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basílio Reis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Bigas's Augusto Guerreiro. 1-0. Daniel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Guerreiro having to interfere. When Daniel Matos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Terrujem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Matos couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Fontes got free with Augusto Guerreiro in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, SC Bigas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Matos came free, but Augusto Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bigas's goalkeeper Augusto Guerreiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Bigas's Mariano Ramos got a free kick in the 35th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Daniel Matos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augusto Guerreiro, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Daniel Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Mariano Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Bigas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Terrujem the free kick. Mariano Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. SC Bigas's Augusto Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Fontes in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Alexandre Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Alvess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Filipe Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69th minute, Daniel Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Terrujem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 75th minute, Carlos Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Óscar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Augusto Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, SC Bigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Ramos to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, SC Bigas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Matos came free, but Augusto Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bigas's goalkeeper Augusto Guerreiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Terrujem's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
