Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Lomba's Jorge Coimbra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Álvaro Ramos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Vítor Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Santarém, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Paulo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Esteves in the 14th minute of play. A long shot from Diogo Santarém in the 17th minute of play was well struck, but Carlos Aleixo made a really good save at the right post. Jorge Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Aleixo having to interfere. SC Lomba's David Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Esteves in the 23rd minute of play. If Paulo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, SC Lomba's Jorge Coimbra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Aleixo. Carlos Aleixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 35th match minute, SC Lomba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. David Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Lomba's David Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Esteves in the 39th minute of play. David Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Leal in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Ramila's Vítor Viana got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Paulo Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lomba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Esteves was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandre Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Ramila booed when SC Lomba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 63 in the game by Pedro Leal from a close distance when the talented David Moutinho managed to make a qualified save. SC Lomba's players were relieved. Carlos Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Soares in the 67th minute of the match. Jorge Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Aleixo having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Jorge Coimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Aleixo. SC Ramila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Coimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Viana during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Jorge Coimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Aleixo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 85th minute Jorge Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Esteves in the 89th minute of the match. SC Lomba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
