Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amílcar Andrade got the match started through his kick off. António Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Ferreira in the 5th minute of play. SC Violeiro's José Guarda got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catarino Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg José Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when SC Violeiro's José Guarda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Trindade in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Franciscas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. José Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Mota made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when José Guarda sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Simões hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Franciscas FC's goalkeeper José Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Trindade in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Trindade to make the kick off. Amílcar Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Reis having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Amílcar Andrade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Reis. The goal made the score 0-1. Amílcar Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. António Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Franciscas FC's zone, Vítor Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Mota came out of the goal and Vítor Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. José Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Reis having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, SC Violeiro's Manuel Trindade made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, SC Violeiro's Abel Gueifão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
