Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amílcar Andrade kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Franciscas FC's goalkeeper José Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Franciscas FC defense, Bernardo Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Mota. The Franciscas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Mota should have stopped the shot. Nuno Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Andrade in the 7th minute of the match. If Amílcar Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Lourenço Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franciscas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bragada FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Franciscas FC's Lourenço Fonseca got a free kick in the 14th minute. José Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Amílcar Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Gueifão. Amílcar Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Nuno Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Sebastião Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bragada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franciscas FC the free kick. Sebastião Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Simões got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nuno Gueifão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute, Bernardo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nuno Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Andrade in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Gueifão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Ferreira in the 80th minute of play forced Bragada FC's goalkeeper Nuno Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Franciscas FC's Amílcar Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Gueifão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Bragada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Resende to maneuver through the defense. Catarino Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
