In the 53rdth minute of the game Bento Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Secerigo's José Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Setúbal having to interfere. Olheiro's Adelino Bessa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
