But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Coimbra couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes SC Macos got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Delgado. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Eduardo Borba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th match minute, SC Macos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Macedo to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílcar Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
