After 11 minutes of play, Louzoes FC's Xavier Borba made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Azevedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Borba in the 17th minute of play forced Medonha FC's goalkeeper Miguel Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Rui Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medonha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Louzoes FC the free kick. Rui Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Louzoes FC's Xavier Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Louzoes FC's Xavier Borba in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Louzoes FC reached it. Joaquim Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Artur Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louzoes FC's Artur Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Medonha FC's Fábio Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xavier Borba scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Louzoes FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. David Brás hit a great ball. Artur Azevedo had great luck who in the 48thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joaquim Fernandes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavier Borba was the one to do the kick off. When Louzoes FC's Xavier Borba in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Louzoes FC's Artur Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Fernandes in the 72nd minute of play. Cristiano Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Miguel Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louzoes FC. Xavier Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xavier Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Louzoes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Delgado in the 90th minute. The corner led Louzoes FC's José Delgado to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fábio Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Cristiano Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Miguel Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Louzoes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
