Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Abel Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 played minutes Lovelhe FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Almeida. Emanuel Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Fernandes. Cogambreiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Alfredo Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lovelhe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Lovelhe FC's Alfredo Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lovelhe FC's Basílio Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Basílio Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basílio Soares, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jorge Fernandes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cogambreiro's zone, Alfredo Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Fernandes came out of the goal and Alfredo Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Campos to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Soares came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Fernandes could save by the left post. In the 53rd minute Alfredo Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfredo Pedroso sped through Cogambreiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Fernandes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Pedroso in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Fernandes saved Cogambreiro from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cogambreiro's zone, Basílio Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Fernandes came out of the goal and Basílio Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Alfredo Pedroso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cogambreiro's Jorge Fernandes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Jorge Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Basílio Soares sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lovelhe FC's Paulo Pinho got a free kick in the 80th minute. António Alves came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cogambreiro's José Tavares. But to his dismay, José Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Raul Almeida hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. José Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lovelhe FC's António Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Campos in the 92nd minute of play. Cogambreiro's Abel Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lovelhe FC played a much better game than Cogambreiro and deserved their victory. The Cogambreiro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
