Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Abuxarda's Sandro Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cláudio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes SC Abuxarda got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Brito. José Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes SC Loures got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Setúbal. 18 minutes into the match, Duarte Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Ramos. SC Loures's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Sandro Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Ramos was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Rodrigo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Ramos having to interfere. José Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Torres struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Cláudio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Abuxarda. When Duarte Brito came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SC Abuxarda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Brito couldn't finish the play. If Sandro Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Setúbal hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Sandro Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Heitor Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino Brás to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Vale in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Faria saved SC Abuxarda from getting behind. In the 64th minute José Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandro Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Torres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 66th playminute. SC Abuxarda's Heitor Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vale in the 69th minute of play. With 74 minutes on the clock, Cristiano Barbosa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, one of SC Abuxarda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Abuxarda. Heitor Faria had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Augusto Nogueira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rodrigo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Ramos having to interfere. If Rodrigo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, José Vale made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Abuxarda's Heitor Faria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, José Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Abuxarda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Abuxarda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
