Pretos's Raul Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Pretos from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Basílio Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Pretos's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Vaz came free, but Raul Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Eduardo Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Carvalho in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Formigal.
