Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 12 minutes into the match, Cercadas's Rui Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 played minutes SC Formigal got a freekick which was hit by Abel Correia. Artur Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Vaz's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Artur Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rui Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 26 played minutes SC Formigal got a freekick which was hit by Marco Amorim. Abel Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Vaz made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Carvalho got free with Artur Matos in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Artur Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hugo Campos came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cercadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Campos couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Artur Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Formigal. With his leg Artur Matos managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when SC Formigal's Joaquim Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 67 minutes, Rui Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cercadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cercadas's Hugo Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80th play minutes Rui Barros shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Emanuel Moutinho and just under the crossbar into goal. During the 85th minute of the match Miguel Pinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Pinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th match minute, Cercadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Pinho to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Basílio Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Matos was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Basílio Vaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
