Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Freitas got the match started through his kick off. Rui Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Raul Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jorge Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pretos's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Morais was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rui Barros struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Raul Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadas. 19 minutes into the match, Cercadas's goalkeeper Artur Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Morais. The crowd rose to their feet as Pretos's Sandro Morais slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Matos. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Raul Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Campos in the 25th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Rui Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Garcia. Pretos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Rui Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Barros to make the kick off. Hugo Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Campos went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Campos got free with Raul Garcia in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hugo Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cercadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Eduardo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Morais in the 74th minute of play forced Cercadas's goalkeeper Artur Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Barros got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Raul Garcia handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Pretos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Pretos's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Barros came free, but Raul Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hugo Campos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cercadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Campos couldn't finish the play. Rui Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Garcia having to interfere. Cercadas played a much better game than Pretos and deserved their victory. The Pretos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
