The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, António Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Touvedo's supporters rose to their feet, but António Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. José Nunes hit a great ball. André Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Paredes in the 15th minute of the match. André Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When José Nunes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. In the 26th match minute, SC Touvedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Touvedo's Raul Rodrigues got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Tiago Pedroso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Touvedo's André Borges didn't even have to move. Raul Rodrigues hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sarrasqueira's Basílio Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sarrasqueira's Basílio Paredes suffered a concussion after 37 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Monteiro during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sarrasqueira booed when SC Touvedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Xavier Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarrasqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jorge Borba fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Touvedo's protests and gave Jorge Borba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Touvedo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jorge Borba hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Sarrasqueira's Sebastião Tavares in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sebastião Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. André Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Rodrigues hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Rafael Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Borges made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Rafael Lisboa sent off a good shot on target. After 83 played minutes SC Touvedo got a freekick which was hit by David Moura. If Rafael Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Rafael Lisboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
