Sarnache's Gil Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Teixeira in the 17th minute of play. Fernando Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Joaquim Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gil Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Albertino Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Fernandilho's Jacinto Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Cardoso got free with Jacinto Almeida in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Fernandilho fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when SC Fernandilho's Armando Moutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gil Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Sarnache's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Moutinho came free, but Gil Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Fernandilho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Almeida should have stopped the shot. Gil Jesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Moutinho went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Fernando Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarnache walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
