After 2 played minutes Francelos FC got a freekick which was hit by André Ferro. Fradelos were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Francelos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiago Lisboa took the corner. Tiago Lisboa made a great header on Fradelos's corner, it was just that Francelos FC's Rafael Leão managed to reach the ball for a save. Álvaro Aleixo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Porto went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Artur Barros hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Francelos FC's zone, João Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Leão came out of the goal and João Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rafael Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonçalo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Gonçalo Cruz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rafael Leão to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 34 in the game by Gonçalo Cruz from a close distance when the talented Rafael Leão managed to make a qualified save. Francelos FC's players were relieved. In the 37th minute, Hugo Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Francelos FC were awarded a corner. Jacinto Brás went to the cornerflag to take it. Álvaro Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Porto in the 47th minute of play. Mário Lopes hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Santarém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Álvaro Aleixo made a huge save. Álvaro Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gonçalo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Leão having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Daniel Porto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gonçalo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fradelos's David Aguiar got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Baptista in the 80th minute of play forced Francelos FC's goalkeeper Rafael Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Garcia's late challenge caught a Fradelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Francelos FC's Sebastião Garcia got a free kick in the 81st minute. Paulo Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Gonçalo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fradelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Fradelos got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Cunha. Álvaro Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Porto in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fradelos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Francelos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
