After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gonçalo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fradelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Gonçalo Cruz made a precise shot to the right of António Delgado. Bordeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Fradelos's goal looked a bit too open when João Brás came free, but Álvaro Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Jorge Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, David Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Anjos got free with Álvaro Aleixo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fradelos's Álvaro Aleixo got control of the ball when Filipe Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 43 minutes into the game, one of Bordeira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Cruz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bordeira's João Brás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Aleixo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Cruz in the 54th minute of play forced Bordeira's goalkeeper António Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tiago Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Álvaro Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Hugo Cunha hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fernando Correia, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Baptista got free with António Delgado in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fradelos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
