Lúcio Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Moutinho having to interfere. Pedro Gomes made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pedro Branco sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Carlos Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Matias in the 13th minute of play. Gil Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catarino Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pedro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lúcio Matias went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carlos Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Lisboa in the 29th minute of the match. Catarino Moniz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sarrape. Pedro Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Gomes having to interfere. Gil Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Lisboa made a kick off. Pedro Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Catarino Moniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Gomes. SC Meiral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Catarino Moniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. SC Sarrape's Carlos Moutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sarrape from getting a goal against them. Pedro Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Moniz in the 69th minute of play. Catarino Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Catarino Moniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Sarrape fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Carlos Moutinho made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lúcio Matias sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Lisboa in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th play minute Lúcio Matias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Moutinho. 3-4. João Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, SC Meiral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute SC Sarrape were awarded a corner. Eusébio Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. SC Sarrape's Eusébio Lopes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Gomes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
