Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Outil's Jacinto Melo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match Alexandre Torres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafael Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Neves in the 7th minute of the match. Cândido Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rafael Azevedo made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Luís Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Outil's Jorge Moura tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jacinto Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Borba having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eira's goalkeeper Albertino Borba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albertino Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Cândido Sá sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st match minute, SC Outil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Resende to maneuver through the defense. Eira were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after SC Outil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Moura took the corner. If Bento Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Cândido Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Azevedo having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Jacinto Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Outil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Albertino Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertino Borba having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jacinto Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Outil's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Outil's Rafael Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Neves in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, SC Outil's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Neves came free, but Rafael Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Sá took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Azevedo. Rafael Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Jacinto Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes in the game, Jacinto Melo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Albertino Borba having to interfere. Hélder Freitas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Amílcar Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Outil's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Albertino Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Melo in the 93rd minute of the match. Jacinto Melo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albertino Borba. Albertino Borba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Albertino Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
