Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Melo kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Gil Lisboa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Outil's Rafael Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Meiral's Pedro Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Melo in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Lisboa in the 24th minute of play forced SC Outil's goalkeeper Rafael Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Meiral's Luís Nascimento got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Meiral's João Carvalho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ricardo Nogueira's late challenge caught a SC Outil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored SC Meiral's protests and gave Amílcar Faro a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Jorge Moura in the 46th minute really tested Pedro Gomes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 47 played minutes SC Meiral got a freekick which was hit by Luís Nascimento.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Lisboa was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Lisboa in the 53rd minute of play. If Gil Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Outil's Henrique Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Henrique Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Outil's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meiral's zone, Amadeu Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Gomes came out of the goal and Amadeu Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Gomes was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After having played for 79 minutes, Lúcio Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Meiral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Melo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 88 minutes of play, SC Meiral's Lúcio Matias made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lúcio Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rafael Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Gil Lisboa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafael Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lúcio Matias went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
