A beautiful save bye SC Regato's goalie prevented a goal. Cristiano Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Azevedo in the 6th minute of the match. Afonso Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Coelho having to make a save. Hugo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Coimbra in the 12th minute of the match. Hugo Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Coimbra in the 14th minute of play. Paulo Anjos's late challenge caught a SC Regato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Anjos helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Anjos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes in the game Vítor Garcia got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Mouriz FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Mota. Mouriz FC's Cristiano Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. Cristiano Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Mota in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, SC Regato's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Coimbra came free, but Hugo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Coimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Coimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gonçalves in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Regato's goalkeeper Hugo Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Mota went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 47 minutes, Joaquim Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mouriz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Artur Mota came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Regato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Mota couldn't finish the play. Joel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hugo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Joaquim Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mouriz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gustavo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Alexandre Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mouriz FC and the SC Regato players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Soares hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Afonso Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Coelho was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Afonso Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Coelho having to interfere. If Artur Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre Soares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Mouriz FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Soares. After having played for 83 minutes, Afonso Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Regato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Coelho having to make a save. In the 96th minute Artur Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Regato's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
